Welcome to the World of Cloud

Why this blog
After years of working hands-on with Microsoft Azure — first as a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect and now as an Infrastructure Lead — I wanted a place to share what I learn as I learn it. This is that place.
Expect practical, no-fluff notes on building and running things in the cloud: architecture patterns that held up in production, the Azure services worth your time, and increasingly, how AI is reshaping the way we design and operate infrastructure.
What I'll write about
- Azure in practice — landing zones, networking, identity, cost, and the trade-offs that don't show up in the docs.
- AI on Azure — Azure AI Foundry, agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and how to ship them securely.
- Cloud operations — automation, reliability, and the unglamorous work that keeps systems healthy.
What's next
This site itself is becoming a small case study: it's rebuilt on Next.js, themed with Microsoft Fluent, hosted on Azure Static Web Apps, and it'll soon have an AI assistant that can answer questions about my work — grounded only in what I've actually written.
More on all of that soon. Thanks for reading, and welcome to the world of cloud.
